A Horse Lovin’ Cat . . . and a Chocolate Cake in the Oven!

. .
I just had to share this . . . I know, I know, it isn’t a recipe! But I’ve got a three layer, triple chocolate cake in the oven to give my husband tomorrow when USC beats Ohio State in order to prevent him from going into depression! He is such a loyal Buckeye fan! Sweets always make his day and counter anything negative in his day.
.
So in the meantime, enjoy this shot of JOY in the simple display of animal love on the acreage on this beautiful late summer day! Try to remember: Don’t get too caught up in your blog or your daily life that you forget to take a brief moment to see how beautiful life is around you! And give thanks for your blessings!
.
Chat with you tomorrow with chocolate cake crumbs on my fingers!

share the love my friends! Thanks!Pin on Pinterest0Google+0Share on Facebook0Tweet about this on Twitter0

I promise to reply to your kind comments, but sometimes I get behind because of something cooking in my kitchen, hummingbirds in my gardens, or grading my student papers . . . but

I WILL reply both on your blog and here! After all, that's what good friends are for!

That is such a cute picture. I love that cat and the horse!

    I know what cake you’re making :-)
I can’t wait til the 20th so I can see your cake. I’m making mine next week for my boss’ birthday. It’s a surprise!

Awwwwwwwww. How did you get the cat to do that?? My cats wouldn’t get near my horse…they’d look like Halloween cats. Oh, how I miss having my horse living in my own backyard. You are so blessed.

Cake? You’re going to keep me in suspense…

hi Roz – Got your message about joining in on Tasty Tuesday. Your blog would be great.
You are free to link up to any post that is related to anything “kitchen tips, food, or recipe” department. I don’t need to approve it just keep it along those lines. Then when you post it, you’ll link up at my blog with the exact URL of your Tasty Tuesday post so that others can easily find it since people will browse on these links for months. Then somewhere in your post, you mention my site with a link to either my home page or my Tasty Tuesday post. I typically have the post up by about 11:00pmEST on Monday night…early bird gets the worm (but it’s always up by midnight).

I’d love to have you and hope you can join in the fun. :)
    blessings,
    Jen

    Hi Roz,
Oh my goodness I LOVE this picture! The sweet kitty reminds me of ours. Although I know Chestnut would be terrified of the horse for sure. LOL!

My hubby is an OSU Grad as well. How neat they have this in common.

Thank you so much for your kind visit today on a few of my posts. I really appreciate it. Come by anytime okay my friend.

Blessings to you this Sunday, ~Melissa :)
