It looks beautiful! When I was housesitting in TN I spent a couple of nights at the Biltmore Mansion and visited the eclectic town. Loved it.
How nice that you shared this with your followers – it was so enjoyable to see! Looks like he had a wonderful birthday!
It looks like y’all had a great time. I’m from right near Ashville although I haven’t spent very much time there (it was always to ‘liberal’ for my parents). It’s great to see a post about my home area.
What a fun birthday and as you said, eclectic place. How lucky for you to have all that pampering and delicious food. But you know my favorite thing was the grits and blue cheese. Yum. By the way, my Italian chit-chat group is just that – a group of women who meet weekly to chit chat in Italian.
What a fun place to spend a birthday. As you said, it sure was eclectic in the furnishings. The food and pampering looked terrific and I could go for a big bowl of those grits and blue cheese. By the way, to answer your question, my Italian chit chat group is just that – a gathering of friends who meet weekly to speak Italian.
First of all, happy birthday to your hubby. Every time we drive by this hotel, I wonder what it’s like inside. Thank you so much Roz for taking us along to this interesting hotel.

Been to Asheville only once but fell in love with its weirdness . . . this hotel is something, though! I would have had my mouth open too much to take all the lovely pictures you did. Looks like you both must have had a lovely time. Thanks for sharing all, Roz.
What a great way to celebrate a BD. The hotel photos are impressive so I can imagine how it must look in person. I’m really intrigued by the bleu cheese grits.
Oh U.S Roz….how BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Big happy birthday to your husband. May this year be is best to date. Canadian Roz.
great review and interesting looking place–I love that illuminated wine list, great idea!! anne
