Top 10 and Most Pinned Recipes of 2013!
With the holidays behind us and having a few more precious moments to relax, breath, and JUST BE STILL, it’s time once again to re-cap the top 10 and most pinned recipes of 2013! from La Bella Vita Cucina that you pinned and commented the most on. I have to say, even though I actually posted less often in 2013, the recipes that I did share are among my best recipes (according to you and my family).
What can I say?
YOU have great taste!!
So here we go with the countdown of the Top 10 and most pinned recipes of 2013 on La Bella Vita Cucina! Interesting that there were equally five sweet and five savory recipes that were well-loved by you.
#10 Espresso and Chocolate Tres Leches Cake was favored by all of the chocolate and coffee lovers!
#9 Pork Saltimbocca with Creamy Polenta had readers writing directly to me about how much their families love this recipe that is now a ‘keeper’ in their homes! I love reading all of your emails about your experiences cooking these recipes!
#8 White Chocolate Glazed Cranberry and Pistachio Biscotti was not only a top faved recipe, it was also selected to be a featured recipe in The Fresno Bee in California! WOW!
#7 is this amazingly delicious and delicate Peach with Amaretto Cream Glaze Bundt Cake, so perfect for summer!
#6, Pork recipes are clearly a favorite every year, and these Pork Chops Marsala with Risotto Milanese kept that going in 2013 and were shared on Foodie more than any of my recipes.
#5 Sweets are certainly on your minds, as you indicated for this wonderful Italian Apple Torta
You love delicious, healthy food too! The 4th most favorite recipe is this outstanding, full-of-flavor Grilled Swordfish Skewers with Mediterranean Olive Salsa Cruda
The #3 recipe is one that my son asked me to prepare. I normally don’t make Mexican food, since we prefer to eat at our local Mexican restaurant, but you loved this recipe just like my son does: Creamy Cheesy Chicken Enchiladas
A darn close tie for first place is the #2 most popular recipe by many people who love this pasta: Spaghetti with Toasted Garlic Breadcrumbs
And finally, the #1 recipe that has gone viral on Pinterest is my Strawberry Layer Cake with Strawberry Mascarpone Cheese Icing

I can certainly see why these post would be popular with everyone. It is interesting that savory and sweet were evenly divided but then everything you prepare always sounds so good.
I normally have more savory recipes that are the most popular, so I’m happy to see that some of my sweeter recipes were popular. Thanks, Kim
